D alle gite fuoriporta alle grandi avventure in moto in altri Continenti, l’attività “moto-turi- stica” di GIVI è attiva tutto l’anno. Tra gli eventi organizzati nel 2016, merita attenzione anche la 2° edizione del GIVI TOUR, tenutasi dal 10 al 12 giugno con grande soddisfazione di tutti i parteci- panti. Il giro si è svolto nell’area dolomitica, con escursioni anche in Austria e Germania. Meta finale: il fiabesco castello di Neuschwanstein. Il GIVI TOUR è aperto a tutti…ma c’è un requisito da rispettare: possedere una moto equipaggiata con accessori GIVI. Per contraccambiare la fiducia, l’azienda si fa carico di parte delle spese per ar- rivare a offrire una quota di partecipazione davvero popolare. A questa tre giorni (per la quale è disponibile la gallery fotografica) hanno partecipato 40moto. Se volete seguirne le tracce, con amici o in solitario, ecco una breve descrizione dell’itinerario. Il gruppo s’ incontra venerdì di buon’ora, presso la sede dell’azienda: colazione e briefing da parte delle due guide e poi via verso il Passo Crocedomini (Bs) e da lì Temù su strade assolate davvero godibili. Si toccano in sequenza Passo Gavia, Bormio, Stelvio, per chiudere la giornata a Nauders, in Austria. Qui è obbligatorio il gilet ad alta visibilità (fornito a tutti da GIVI alla partenza). Il tempo buono diventa un ricordo il sabato, la- sciando al gruppo un dilemma: antiacqua o no? Giusto il tempo per il pieno e poi il serpentone si muove verso Füssen per poi raggiungere, in tarda mattinata, il leggendario castello di Neuschwanstein. La pioggia torrenziale mette a dura prova anche le valigie e i top case GIVI, che per ne escono alla grande: il contenuto arriva a destinazione asciutto. Nel po- meriggio i partecipanti raggiungono Oberammergau e poi il LagoWalkchensee: una frana costringe a una deviazione. La sosta per la notte è prevista a Seefeld. Domenica Il tempo tiene e le tute an- tiacqua tornano nei bauletti. Si punta a Solden per poi salire al Passo Rombo per una sosta al “TopMountainMotorcycle Museum” che ospita 170 moto d’epoca. Un pranzo in stile bavarese attende il gruppo a Merano; è lì occasione per i premi di rito al partecipante in arrivo da più lontano e al più giovane. Di nuovo in sella per rientrare a casa, scegliendo la comoda e veloce autostrada o il tratto che dal Passo Palade, Fondo e Moldeno riporta a Brescia. Grandi strette di mano, scambio di contatti e la richiesta da parte di tutti di essere informati sui prossimi appuntamenti GIVI. A tutti i partecipanti viene chiesto di commentarne il gradimento, dare un consiglio e un’ipotesi di prossima meta. Ecco la sintesi. GRADIMENTO: percorso e logistica, cor- tesia e disponibilità staff, la piacevole compagnia, la puntualità, rapporti amichevoli. CONSIGLI: ottimizzare le soste per il pieno di carburante, qualcheminuto in più per le soste panoramiche, più tempo per la pausa pranzo, più animazione di sera. GIVI TOUR 2016 MOUNTAINMON AMOUR! From day trips to great bike adventures in other continents, GIVI’s bike tourism activities cover the whole year. Among the events organised in 2016, worth mentioning is the 2nd edition of the GIVI TOUR, held from the 10th to the 12th of June with great satisfaction of all participants. The tour took place in the Dolomites’ area, with detours also in Austria and Germany. Final destination: the fairy-tale castle of Neuschwanstein. GIVI TOUR is open to everybody... but there’s a catch: you must own a bike equipped with GIVI accessories. In exchange for this trust, the company covers part of the cost so as to offer a really accessible participation fee. 40 bikes participated in this three- day ride (of which a photo gallery is available). If you want to follow its path, with friends or alone, here is a brief description of the itinerary. The group meets early on Friday, at the company’s headquarters: breakfast and briefing of the two guides and then away towards Crocedomini Pass (Brescia) and from there up to Temù on enjoyable sunny roads. We pass in this order: Gavia Pass, Bormio and Stelvio, ending the day at Nauders, in Austria. Here the high visibility vest (given to everybody by GIVI before starting) is mandatory. The good weather becomes a memory on Saturday, leaving the group to face a dilemma: Waterproof gear or not? Just enough time to fill up and then the convoy moves towards Füssen to reach, late in the morning, the legendary castle of Neuschwanstein. The torrential rain puts GIVI’s bags and top cases to the test, which they pass with flying colours: the content reaches its destination dry. In the afternoon the participants reach Oberammergau and then lake Walkchensee: a landslide forces the group to make a deviation. The night break is scheduled in Seefeld. Sunday the weather holds and the waterproof suits go back in the cases. We head towards Solden to then go up to Rombo Pass and stop for a break at the “Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum”, which hosts 170 vintage bikes. A Bavarian-style lunch awaits the group in Meran; it is here that the rider coming from the farthest place and the youngest one receive customary prizes. Back in the saddle to head home, going for the convenient and fast motorway or the route that from Palade Pass, Fondo and Moldeno goes back to Brescia. Great handshakes, contact exchanges and a request from everyone to be notified on GIVI’s upcoming events. All participants are asked to comment on what they liked, give some advice and suggest a future destination. Here the results in synthesis: WHAT THEY LIKED: itinerary and logistics, courtesy and friendliness of the staff, pleasant company, friendly relationships. ADVICE: optimise stops to fill up the bikes, a bit more break-time to view the scenery, more time for lunch, more entertainment in the evening. NEXT DESTINATION: Southern France, Greece, Ireland, Iberian Peninsula,Cultural/gastro-tour in Italy, Croatia, Black Forest, Pyrenees.
