The Italian Company also intro- duces a large number of new soft bags, new accessories in the “smart” line and displays new and upgraded helmets and cases. And there will be some “concept” prototypes, too… SOFT BAGS The EASY-T range gets the price for the most debuts: six new bags! Three large capacity tank bags, one of which is specific for the Honda NC 750X, designated as EA116; the 30 liter AE14 roll bag in two color versions; and finally, two cargo bags (EA115 and EA119) of 40 and 60 liters, with bright color inserts. GRAVEL-T . The Enduro oriented range sees the addition of the new GRT709 CANYON side bags, featuring a new universal mounting system, Security Lock, waterproof liner and M.O.L.L.E. system to add ex- tra accessories. Also new is the GRT710 multi pocket waist bag, with removable waterproof smart- phone sleeve. ULTIMA-T This range is the top of the GIVI street oriented lineup, with its signature pre-formed construction. New additions are the large 35 liter UT805 seat bag and two tank bags, featuring the new ”keyed” TanklockED quick release system. Their part numbers are respec- tively UT809 and UT810. SPORT-T The new additions will surely get the attention of “speed addicts”. The new ST604 Side Bags defi- nitely stand out: they are the evolution of the original ST601 bags, with a modified design and new materials. They use the same Multilock systemmounting hard- ware. Also new in the Sport-T line is the small tank bag ST605, using the TanklockED quick release mount. EXTRA CARGO This range now includes the new T514 inner bag for the Trekker Dolomiti side case and two uni- versal and waterproof small bags: the T516 to be mounted on the handlebar and the T517, to be worn around the leg. To complete the range there is also the new T515 tool roll, but more new products could be released be- fore the end of the year. SMALL AND LARGE ACCESSORIES We are naming the most import- ant ones, starting from the S410 Trolley Base, the undisputed king of our “smart” range. It fits any Monokey topcase and is equipped with casters and an extensible aluminium handle. In addition, there are a few more products that became available towards the end of the Summer, well before the EICMA. They are the S321 fog lights, upgraded with new generation LED tech- nology, and low power consump- tion (only 8 watts); also, very interesting are the S920 M / L smartphone clamps, universal and capable of gripping tubes from 8 to 35 mm diameter, in- cluding sections that are not perfectly round. Another new entry is the RM02 offset rear mud flap, made of ABS with a metal core. It acts as a barrier against the dirt and rain raised by the rear tire. Finally, the S250 Toolbox, that has been success- fully available on the market since last Summer, getting a lot of interest from users. It is mount- ed in the gap between the back of the side case and the body or the frame of the motorcycle. SCREENS Only one application will be added to the GIVI windshield and screens lineup. It is the 140A / S and it is designed to enhance the look of naked and classic motorcycles that come with a round headlight. It is mounted with bike specific kits. HARD CASES The Milan Show will see the unveiling of the black edition DOLOMITI cases (DLM46, DLM36 and DLM30). Also new, the compact B26 Monolock topcase. HELMETS The new entry is the 20.9 Fiber open face helmet, with a more encompassing shell and long shield, but good news come from the new X21 Challenger Modular helmet, that is now fully available. New colors and graphics are available for the 50.5 full face (including the Decò lady edition) for the 10.7 open face (Icarus) and the 12.3 open face (Flux). For all the helmets of the GIVI range the new I303S Bluetooth intercom is now available. CONCEPTS Two new ideas will be displayed in a dedicated corner of the GIVI booth, but they are at the moment only in their prototype/ concept stage. In a way, this is the opportunity for the public to peep behind the doors of our R&D Department, witness- ing an intermediate step of the development of these new ideas. Both concepts are dedicated to our top boxes. The first aims at improving active safety by using the gap between rear lenses and lid, and inserting an innovative light source: elec- troluminescence. A technology that is not hampered by hu- midity or extreme temperatures (works from -20ºC up to +80ºC) and it’s always on, even at day- time. The second idea wants to make the opening and closing of the case safer for its content. The concept developed here, stem- ming from the automotive world, it is way more advanced than a simple remote control entry. The smartphone is now the connection between rider and his/her topcase, and the com- munication is provided by an APP that always runs in the background and will lock or unlock the case (automatical- ly or manually) within a spe- cific, adjustable range.
