GIVI Magazine - Novembre 2018
ENGLISH TEXT The on-going industrial revolution is easily identifiable in this brand new multi-functional space of approximately 500 m2 , consisting of three display areas, where products produced by the GIVI Group are the stars, with “interactive” walls, meeting rooms, refreshment areas and an Academy space resembling the amphitheatre within a lecture hall. The first showroom created within the company dates back to 1996. The first restyling, which involved the entire GIVI headquarters came about in 2005. Now, 13 years later, this exhibition / academy space has undergone a radical review that has led to the creation of new areas that are now much more functional. Although its inauguration, which took place in mid-October, is included as one of the events linked to the GIVI 40th anniversary celebrations, this significant occasion has only served to speed up the works on the showroom in time for the festivities. In actual fact, the need to modify this space arose much earlier, prompted by the desire to separate the display areas of the Group’s three brands, GIVI, KAPPA and HEVIK, from the Academy area with the aim of simultaneously hosting meetings and/or courses and visits to the individual product areas. The new showroom is the result of a project, supervised by the Management, that has seen the professional commitment of many individuals. An entire team was responsible for developing guidelines and specifying requirements in detail and then meeting with the external architects who created the concept. In view of the difficulty integrating a pre-existing structure, the results have exceeded all expectations. Each of the three brands now has an exhibition space that is distinct and coherent with its individual identity, resulting in products from each brand being given the prominence they deserve. The walls, now used for communication, take centre stage by spotlighting top of the range products that can be admired from every angle, particularly in the GIVI section. The entire area is well-integrated and harmonises perfectly with the structural choices made. Comments collected from the first visitors to the new showroom are certainly positive, indicating appreciation for the new display areas, made even more important by the structural and aesthetic choices that have been made and the graphics setting out the intended usage for individual products.
