THE NEW GIVI COLLECTION, TYPE PAIRED WITH ATTITUDE! As usual, we are dedicating the end-of-year GIVI MAGAZINE to the new GIVI products. In these pages you will find a selection of products arriving on the market in the coming months, along with an overhauled website that now offers visitors the option to search for products based on their mindset (Urban, Touring, Adventure, Sport or Café Racer). HELMETS Let’s start with the FLIP-UP helmets by shining the spotlight on the essential and lively range of graphics on the new version of the X.23 SYDNEY PROTECT . The six colour schemes include a tribute to the Italian flag. Similar attention to detail is seen in the X.21 , which is introduced to the public in six colours with the new version, CHALLENGER SPIRIT . Updates have also been made to the X.21 CHALLENGER SHIVER , which welcomes a colourful addition to its range and, which you’ll remember, also includes an appreciated version for women. The X.20 EXPEDITION SOLID COLOR basic flip-up is also expanding, with solid colours enriched by two new entries, for a total of 5. GIVI is also bolstering the large family of 50.6 full-face helmets with the Limited-Edition SPORT DEEP dedicated to fans of sport bikes. This helmet is attracting a lot of attention from the specialised press and users thanks to its mix of new technical and aesthetic features. The captivating graphics pair well with many sport and naked bikes. The technical overhaul compared to the basic model is significant and includes a micrometric strap with a steel hook as standard, a new rapid cheek-pad release system (useful in emergencies), compatibility with the Pinlock Max Vision lens (included), and a second special visor - also included - to match the chosen 50.6 SPORT DEEP colour scheme. From a strictly aesthetic point of view, we mark the arrival of the 50.6 STOCCARDA BLADES , with new graphics in four different colour combinations. Updates have also been made to the 50.6 STOCCARDA FOLLOW , a line which now has 6 choices with the arrival of the new Matte Titanium/Yellow. No change has been made to the STOCCARDA MENDHI LADY , which continues to be a winning choice for women bikers. Moving on to the JET helmets , as we wait for nicer weather, we highlight the completion of the top-of-the-range X.22 PLANET HYPER , which in its current format adds an unusual Military Green + Yellow and an additional homage to the Italian flag. Also, in this case the available colour schemes have expanded to six, a number which, in 2021, will also apply to the solid colour version of the X.22 PLANET SOLID COLOR . In terms of pricing, GIVI has three JET helmets at the top of the market. After the X.22 comes the well-known 11.1 AIR JET-R , which joins the 2021 collection with the new CLASS version (5 different graphics) including the CLASS LADY option. The third notable JET is the 13.3 STRATOS SHADE , with a new Silver/Titanium colour scheme. In terms of DEMI-JET helmets , the multiple versions of the 10.7 MINI-J are ready for use by urban commuters. There is the new CONCEPT , backed by high-impact graphics with 5 colour schemes, including Italy, flanked by the CONCEPT LADY , to balance out the products also available for women, joined by the new graphics of ART NOUVEAU LADY . The SOLID COLOR range is also expanding, now at 6 with the arrival of Matte Dark Blue. Let’s not forget that, for years, the 10.7 was the only demi-jet that could fit under the seat of a number of scooters, including Vespa, thanks to the ability to fold the cheek pads by pressing the helmet down. We’ll end this helmet overview with the new JUNIOR 4 FLY , a full-face helmet for children “dressed like grown-ups”! HARD CASES The TREKKER ALASKA , in aluminium, is another step forward for GIVI, an ambitious project entirely Made in Italy, which led to the creation of an efficient, essential and lightweight practical case, equipped with patent-pending mechanisms and the most universal fixing system in the world: the MONOKEY® System. This side case has an internal capacity of 36 LTR and can be purchased exclusively as a pair with the choice of two finishes: Natural and Black. The materials used to produce it are all of extremely high quality: natural aluminium for the body and the lid, stainless steel for the opening block and reinforced technopolymer for the profiles, rotating handle for the lid and other details. TREKKERALASKA is the first square aluminium case by the brand to feature a MONOKEY fixing system. This means longevity like no other. In fact, the user can use it on both “old” motorcycles and current models. It has many notable strengths... but it would be impossible to cover them all in this overview of new products for 2021. The B43 , on the other hand, is a new MONOLOCK® top case, complete with a plate and universal fixing kit intended mainly for scooters and small motorcycles. Its significant capacity (43 ltr), alongside the rather unusual square shape for the segment of plastic top cases, means it can hold two full-face helmets. What makes it even more unique is the internal mat, the upper net for storing items and the backrest as standard. We are also including the new WEIGHTLESS family in this section, which despite its semi- rigid structure in ABS, is similar to Givi classic cases thanks to the side + top case trio. Another element equating it to “real” hard cases is the presence of the MONOKEY fixing system. Essentially, a combination of lightweight and sturdiness that is perceptible beyond the saddle and a design that makes the line immediately recognisable. At the moment, the WL line includes the WL900 pair of side cases with 25-LTR capacity each and the WL901 top case with expandable capacity from 29 to 34 ltr. SOFT BAGS CANYON is the name of the renewed line for Adventure bags. The successors to the famous Gravel-T range, the bags which make it up, add more ways to load up your luggage thanks to a selection of 13 different options. What they all have in common is their impermeability, a roll-down closure system, and an affinity for the off-road attitude of maxi Enduros. They include side bags, rucksacks and a waist bag, tank bags, a cylinder bag, tool bag and cargo bag and accessories. Some of these models are already known to our users, others are genuine new entries, such as the GRT722 - an 8 ltr water-resistant bag to be fixed to the engine guard of maxi Enduros, GRT721 , a modular rear saddle base, a useful support for fixing different side and top loads and adaptable to any type of off-road motorcycle GRT720 , a pair of 25 ltr side bags featuring the Monokey coupling/release system, GRT712B , a large 40 ltr cargo bag equipped with an air release valve, GRT714B , a multi-use, waterproof cylinder bag in black with a yellow interior and internal 20 ltr capacity. For the sport segment, we have the S430 SEATLOCK + ST610 TANKLOCK , an original “support base + bag” pair that lets you use the Tanklock and TanklockED “flange” attachment system on the rear seat. The new universal securing base (already on sale), will soon be joined by a purpose-built companion: the new ST610 for 2021, an extendible, preformed 10 ltr model, added to the Sport-T Range , with a shoulder strap, rain cover and elasticated bands on the lid for holding small objects. The duo, designed for fast touring, can be attached and removed in just a few minutes with no need for tools. The anti-scratch and non-slip rubber base of the S430 does not damage the saddle, and enables secure and stable attachment through the use of the adjustable belt straps provided. Moving on to the EASY-T range , the battleship of soft bags by GIVI, we’ll quickly introduce the seven bags coming to the market in the next season: the EA126 80 ltr waterproof cargo bag; the pair of EA127 30 ltr expandable side bags featuring a fluorescent yellow internal bag; the EA129 15 ltr backpack with thermoformed front pocket and three different storage compartments; ENGLISH TEXT the EA130 magnetic tank bag with 26 ltr capacity that can be transformed into a backpack and fixed under a second bag, the EA132 , the smallest new product for 2021. In addition to these two tank models is a third tank bag, the EA131 , which joins the models with the Tanklock attachment. The collection is completed by the EA133 , another pair of 25 ltr waterproof side bags with a roll-down closure system. Finally, we’ll mention the CORIUM range , which arrived on the market in mid-2020 and is mainly intended for “New Classic” and Café Racer style motorcycles. It includes the CRM101 18 ltr backpack that can be transformed into a saddle bag; the CRM102 and CRM106 individual side bags, with 16 ltr and 13 ltr capacities respectively, the former vertical and the latter horizontal; the CRM103 tank bag; the CRM105 saddle strap for use with the two side-bags mentioned, which in turn can be completed (and concealed) by the comfortable CRM107 passenger saddle cushion. The range is completed by the CRM104 3 ltr leg bag. SMALL ACCESSORIES The range of useful accessories has expanded enormously, a trend that will surely continue into 2021. Let’s take a look at some previews. E198 is a handy courtesy light to place inside top cases and other aluminium cases; it is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery and can be taken out and used as a torch in emergencies. E198 lights up automatically when the lid opens thanks to a gyroscope. E185 is a sturdy universal handle for use on cases to make them easier to transport while out of the saddle. The accessory is compatible with our entire Trekker and Dolomiti “aluminium” range. S904B is a new mount for smartphone/GPS and motorway toll payment devices, to be attached to the lid of the brake fluid reservoir on the dashboard of motorcycles and scooters. Entirely Made in Italy, it has been re-imagined with a different mix of materials: aluminium base, cast aluminium central unit which supports the ball joint encased in the latter made from fibreglass-reinforced technopolymer through a double injection technique. The S904B can be used with the entire line of GIVI smartphone and GPS device mounts, as well as European toll payment devices. The rotating head means these cases can be adjusted and positioned anywhere along the two axes.
