OUR TOUR: THE MOTORCYCLE (ACCESSORIES, CLOTHING) of which there is a little bridge. Here, it is possible to admire the Serrai di Sottoguda canyon, 2 km long and counted as one of the natural wonders of the Agordino area. Sadly, this site was also badly damaged by Storm Vaia in October 2018 and is currently inaccessible. After 350 km, the first day’s itinerary drew to a close with our arrival at Lake Alleghe , where we would spend the night. The lake, located in the Agordino area of Veneto, is one of the places most affected by the storm: the work of sounding the lake is still in progress, and they are trying to remove all the material that has poured into it. As we fell asleep, we knew that more mountain passes and breath-taking views would await us when we woke up the following day. After all, this place is a true paradise for motorcyclists seeking stunning natural scenery, as well as for riders with a passion for twists and turns. DAY 1 - 350 km LOOP ROUTE THROUGH THE DOLOMITES AND THE RETURN TO BRESCIA Bright and early the next morning, we were ready to take on the long road back to Brescia, beginning by heading northwards towards Selva Di Cadore crossing the Colle di Santa Lucia municipality. This put us at the very heart of one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, packed with nature parks and reserves. What awaits us is an electrifying and dynamic drive and the crossing of 5 more Alpine passes, the first of which is the Giau pass : 10 km of continuous curves that take us to over 2 thousand meters above sea level. This is a pass of vital importance, linking the road networks of the Selva di Cadore and Colle di Santa Lucia municipalities with the renowned resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo. On both the ascent and the descent, the road gives the impression of having been drawn with a compass, with slopes and turns following the contours of the mountain to perfection: a joy to behold as well as to ride on. Cortina d’Ampezzo has a history of tourism stretching back for almost a millennium, and is worth a closer look. It is nothing short of a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities. If you’ve got the time, we recommend leaving your motorcycle behind for a few hours and trying out any of the activities for tourists, which include a photography-and-trekking expedition to some of Cortina’s best-hidden sites in the company of a professional photographer. Remember that this was also the site chosen for the Alpine World Ski Championships 2021 and the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Our journey continued with two more passes to conquer: Falzàrego and Valparola . The first of these lies about 16 km away along SR48, a state road, much of which skirts the southern border of the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites and affords a fine view of the Cinque Torri to the left. It goes without saying that the landscape unfolding around us during this part of the journey was one of stunning beauty. Once we’d reached the pass, at an altitude of 2,109 m above sea level, we found ourselves surrounded by majestic peaks - the Sass de Stria before us and the Lagazuoi, accessible by the cable car that shares its name, to our right. To reach the second pass, just a 5-minute ride away, we needed to take the SP24 road in the direction of La Villa. One distinctive feature of this stretch of road is the almost lunar SERRAI OF SOTTOGUDA 18 Turismo
