CANYON BASE WITH GRT722 AND GRT717B GRT712B MODULABLE WITH GRT714B CANYON BASE WITH GRT714B AND GRT717B FLUO YELLOW WATERPROOF INNER BAG (IPX5 WATERPROOF GRADE, WITHSTANDS HEAVY RAIN AND EXTREME CONDITIONS) FOR THE “LIGHTER” ENDURO Another fantastic new feature on the Canyon range is the original GRT721 Base , dedicated to Enduro bikers who can’t or prefer not to mount metal frames on their motorcycles. The modular base acts as a durable, lightweight transport solution which allows you to change the configuration of your motorcycle based on your travel needs, from a day-trip to longer journeys. The base attaches to the motorcycle in 3 simple steps thanks to straps with a system of clips that maintain the tension in the straps, so that they never start to loosen. The two straps at the sides go around the tubes of the motorcycle frame, while the third is fastened to the tail of the vehicle. The base also features its own modular system: with GIVI bags attached to the base, the maximum load is 60 LTR. Modularity is the real strength of this product, as it allows various types of bags to be attached, even those of different brands. This is thanks to the 2 side flaps in Hypalon, which not only protect the load but also wrap around the bag. Like in the GRT720, each strap has a flexible and practical hook and loop fastener system to hold down the tail of the strap and prevent it from flying loose. The top part of the base can hold another bag, thanks to two straps featuring clip buckles to maintain the tension of the strap and fully secure the load. Maximum load can be achieved by using three classic GRT714B 20 LTR cylinder bags, given a technical makeover with patches in resistant TPU, laser-cut to create openings that can be used as loops for the straps. The GRT722 mentioned previously is highly recommended as part of the set-up. This product, which replaces the T513, is sold individually and, unlike the former, has a volume of 8 LTR. It also has two straps which wrap around the bag, again featuring the CAM system. It is fair to say that we designed this as a truly universal bag, offering modularity with both the Canyon Base and the GRT720. Another product which has undergone technical enhancements is the GRT712B , the waterproof 40 LTR bag in 840 TPU Nylon, featuring laser- cut inserts in this material as well as different openings through which the two straps with CAM closure (provided) can be passed. It offers a modular system too, thanks to the inclusion of two straps with buckles which enable an extra load when necessary. The bag also has an internal pocket for holding documents.
