ENGLISH TEXT Intent on making an incredible journey that will take him from Cape Town to North Cape, Deepak Kamath, one of the most adventurous Indian travellers with ties to GIVI Explorer, decided to stop off ‘mid-route’ to visit our main HQ in Flero. And just a few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Deepak Kamath, a seasoned traveller who is taking on a colossal ‘cape to cape’ journey right now. Having set out from Cape Town in South Africa last November, he will likely arrive at North Cape towards the end of August. As he was crossing Northern Italy to reach the rest of Europe, Deepak took the opportunity to stop off in Flero, at the GIVI HQ. And he was of course welcomed with open arms! After giving him a tour of the showroom and the accessory production area, our staff arranged a live Instagram broadcast together with the GIVI branch in India, Deepak’s country of origin. But let’s get to know the star of this story a little better. Born in the Indian city of Bangalore, Deepak Kamath began travelling when he was 18 and he hasn’t stopped since, having covered a distance of about 600,000 km to date. Consider that he’s the only Indian/Asian to have ridden a motorcycle across every continent!
