FIERE MOTO GIVI NEWS MOTORCYCLE LIVE 2023 LA FIERA INGLESE otorcycle Live è la più grande e interattiva fiera dedicata a moto e scooter del Regno Unito; durante i 9 giorni di apertura ha accolto nei suoi 4 padiglioni circa 90mila appassionati (eguagliando i dati dell’edizione 2022). Naturalmente c’eravamo anche noi! Il mix dell’evento ricalca un po’ quello delle fiere di settore: anteprime, spettacoli, dimostrazioni dal vivo e la possibilità di provare i nuovi veicoli elettrici gratuitamente (se in possesso di patenti A, A1 o A2). Citiamo il lancio mondiale della nuova famiglia BMW R12 e due interessanti prototipi presentati dai marchi Maeving e Vulpin. Oltre 50 i produttori presenti. Molto vivace è stata l’area “Black Horse Stage”, che ha ospitato interviste, piloti e giochi. Non sono mancate le “stelle” della Superbike britannica (Tommy Bridewell, Glenn Irwin e Kyle Ry-de…). Chi segue lo sport e magari lo pratica ha particolarmente apprezzato il simulatore Kawasaki, che ha permesso di provare l’emozione di “cavalcare” una ZX4-RR sul circuito di Donington. Ospitata dal 18 al 26 novembre presso il National Exhibition Centre (NEC) di Birmingham, questa esposizione ha chiuso il calendario dei Saloni moto europei previsti nel 2023. ENGLISH TEXT This event, held from 18 to 26 November at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, marked the end of the calendar of European motorcycle shows for 2023. Motorcycle Live is the UK’s largest and most interactive motorcycle and scooter show, lasting nine days and hosting approximately 90,000 enthusiasts across its four pavilions (matching last year’s visitor numbers). Naturally, we were there too! The event offers a similar experience to trade fairs in the sector, with previews, shows, live demos and the possibility to try out new electric vehicles for free (providing you hold a category A, A1 or A2 licence). MOTORCYCLE LIVE 2023, THE TOP BRITISH SHOW This included the launch of the new BMW R12 family and two interesting prototypes pre-sented by Maeving and Vulpin. More than 50 manufacturers were present. There was also plenty going on at the Black Horse Stage, with interviews, drivers and games. And British superbike stars were there too, including Tommy Bridewell, Glenn Irwin and Kyle Ryde. Fans and riders particularly enjoyed the Kawasaki simulator, which offered the chance to experi-ence the thrill of riding a ZX4-RR on the Donington circuit. The GIVI space presented everything new for 2023, including EICMA developments, several cus-tomised kits for motorcycles and an area dedicated to the GIVI Bike brand. British fans were unan-imously impressed. Leading the way for 2024 was the full range of OUTBACK EVO aluminium cases (including 33-litre contoured side case), aimed at motorcycle travellers with a spirit of adventure. Alongside this was the MAXIA Limited Edition rear case; a truly premium product on all counts. From our range of soft bags, two important new arrivals were on show at the event: the XL09 from the X-Line range with Monokey attachment, which can be used as a side bag or top bag, and the T525 - PET BAG, a semi-rigid top case specially designed for small fourlegged passengers on mo-torcycles or scooters. The stand also hosted games, with a wheel of fortune and lots of merchandise and gifts for the audience. Lo spazio GIVI ha rimarcato il lavoro fatto nel 2023 presentando le novità di EICMA, alcuni allestimenti moto e un corner dedicato al marchio GIVI Bike. L’apprezzamento da parte del pubblico inglese è stato unanime. A fare da “apripista” per il 2024 tutta la gamma delle valigie in alluminio OUTBACK EVO (compresa la laterale scantonata da 33 litri), destinata ai motoviaggiatori con attitudine adventure, e poi la valigia posteriore MAXIA Limited Edition, prodotto premium sotto ogni punto di vista. Per la gamma di borse morbide il marchio ha messo in primo piano in fiera due importanti novità: la XL09 della linea X-Line con attacco Monokey, utilizzabile come laterale o come top bag, e la T525 PET BAG, topcase semirigido studiato ad hoc per ospitare su moto e scooter piccoli passeggeri a quattro zampe. Lo stand ha ospitato anche momenti di Gaming con il gioco “Gira la ruota” e la distribuzione di gadget al pubblico. 38 News
