GIVI NEWS INDIA BIKE WEEK 2023 TRA SABBIA, MUSICA E MOTORI ENGLISH TEXT Durante il weekend dell’8 e 9 novembre, all’interno della suggestiva cornice di Vagator, area costiera di Goa, si è svolta la 10° edizione dell’India Bike Week, festival eccentrico e variopinto dedicato a tutti gli appassionati delle due ruote... e non soltanto. Un grande evento al quale non manchiamo di partecipare. Moto, cibo, musica, giochi e tanta adrenalina. Sono questi gli elementi alla base del successo dell’India Bike Week, la più grande manifestazione motociclistica del paese. Quest’anno, ad attendere i molti appassionati, espositori da tutto il mondo, concerti, spettacoli mozzafiato realizzati da veri stunt riders e diversi percorsi da affrontare in sella o godersi da spettatori. Tra questi una pista da Enduro, una Flat Track, una Mud Rush, una incredibile pista da Supercross, la pista Gulf Syntrac Tivra, dotata di un mezzo velodromo e un’area “Wheelie”, per imparare ad effettuare l’impennata perfetta. Infine, davvero estreme le prove del “cerchio di fuoco” e “pozzo della morte”, per riders esperti e decisamente… coraggiosi! INDIA BIKE WEEK 2023 SAND, MUSIC AND MOTORBIKES Over the weekend of the 8th and 9th of November, the 10th edition of India Bike Week was held in the picturesque setting of Vagator on the coast of Goa. This eclectic and eccentric festival is dedicated to all those who love two-wheeled vehicles... and more besides. An extraordinary event that we just couldn’t miss. Motorcycles, food, music, games, and non-stop adrenaline: these are the secrets to the success of India Bike Week, the country’s largest celebration of motorcycling. This year, the multitudes of fans in attendance were treated to exhibitors from all over the world, concerts, breath-taking acts performed by real stunt riders, and a variety of tracks to be enjoyed in the saddle or from the audience. These included an Enduro track, a Flat Track, a Mud Rush track, an incredible Super Cross track, a Gulf Syntrac Tivra track with a half-velodrome, and a “Wheelie” area to master the perfect technique. Finally, the “Ring of Fire” and “Well Of Death” challenges offered extreme thrills for the most experienced and daring riders! Meanwhile, for lovers of Custom bikes, the dedicated “Mod Bike Display” revealed and explored the stories of some of the most unique and astonishing customised motorcycles. The GIVI stand hosted much of the available product range, as well as some new items. These included the MAXIA 5 rear case with paintable covers and the stunning Limited Edition version, presented for the very first time at EICMA. And that’s not all: the new XL09 soft bag from the X-line and the innovative T525 Pet Bag, dedicated to our four-legged friends, also made an appearance. In keeping with the informal nature of the event, a number of fun games were held in the GIVI space with prizes for the winners: “Spin the Wheel” and “Target Shooting”. FIERE MOTO Dedicato poi agli amanti delle Custom, sul “Mod Bike Display” sono state esposte e raccontate le storie di alcune tra le più stupefacenti e uniche motociclette personalizzate. Lo stand di GIVI ha ospitato gran parte della gamma prodotti disponibile, ed anche alcune novità. Tra queste la valigia posteriore MAXIA 5 con cover verniciabili e la preziosa versione Limited Edition, presentata in anteprima assoluta a EICMA. E ancora, la nuova borsa morbida XL09 della linea X-line e l’innovativa Pet Bag T525, dedicata ai nostri piccoli amici a quattro zampe. In linea con lo stile informale della manifestazione, sono stati organizzati presso lo spazio GIVI alcuni divertenti giochi a premi: “Gira la ruota” e “Tiro al bersaglio”.
