Unmix di supercross, freestyle mx e mega party… giunto alla 5°edizione. Creato e organizzato magistral- mente dai fratelli Luca e Angelo Pellegrini, l’evento si è tenuto lo scorso settembre a Bagnolo Mella, in provincia di Brescia. Noi c’eravano. La pioggia anche! L’ edizione 2017 non è stata la più fortunata; la pioggia arrivata presto durante la serata non ne ha permesso il pieno svolgimento. Per fortuna la prima parte della ma- nifestazione non ha fatto mancare lo spettacolo. Ad aprire la serata come di consueto i piloti hanno sfilato in sella alle loro moto seguiti dalle Jeep di Bossoni Group con a bordo le splendide ragazze Techno- mousse, per presentarsi al pubblico attorno al tracciato. I cancelli per le qualifiche sono stati aperti alle 13:00 e il programma ha esordito portando a sfidarsi in pista i piloti della categoria minicross; la gara è stata vinta dal talentuoso Manuel Bersini. I ragazzi del TeamDaboot, specialisti nel freestyle motocross, hanno regalato ai presenti momenti di grande spettacolo nel pomeriggio e nella prima parte di serata. Da segnalare la presenza del campione del mondo Step Up Massimo Bianconcini. Il programma del supercross si e aperto con la «superpole» un giro singolo cro- nometrato per i sei riders piu veloci della giornata, vinta dall’idolo di casa Angelo Pellegrini (Suzuki – AL Motorsports) , premiato con una fotocamera Nikon da Aldo Winkler in persona, CEO di Nital. A seguire le due finali di categoria, con Filippo Zonta (TeamMartin racing) che ha vinto la finale sx2 con alle spalle Lo- renzo Camporese (MB Team) e l’Inglese Joe Clayton (Team DoubleF). Nella classe sx1 la battaglia si è protratta fino all’ultimo giro tra il forte Francese Cedric Soubeyras (JPM Team) e il pa- drone di casa Angelo Pellegrini, arrivato secondo davanti a un altro francese: Adrien Escoffier (Husqvarna). Anche quest’anno il pubblico è diven- tato protagonista, sfidandosi in una lunga corsa a piedi lungo il tracciato, per aggiudicarsi i premi offerti da GIVI e da HEVIK. In serata, il forte maltempo non ha pregiudicato il proseguimento della SUPERCROSS CUP, tra la delusione dei presenti, in attesa del Party After Race, e quella degli organizzatori, che a questo evento hanno lavorato per molti mesi. I fratelli Pellegrini non si sono però persi d’animo e stanno già pensando a come rendere ancora più straordinaria l’edizione 2018. Il nostro rosso Track sarà lì ad aspettarvi. GIVI SUPPORTA LA SUPERCROSS CUP GIVI SUPPORTS THE SUPERCROSS CUP A combination of Supercross, Freestyle MX and a mega party… now at its 5th edition. Created and masterfully managed by the brothers Luca & Angelo Pellegrini, the event went live last Septemper in Bagnolo Mella, near the Italian city of Brescia. We were there… rain too! The 2017 edition wasn’t the luckiest one; the rain, arrived early in the evening, didn’t allowed the full completion of the event. Luckily for the first part of the day, the show was one to remember. During the opening ceremony, all riders introduced themselves to the fans, with the usual parade lap on their motorcycles, followed by the arrival of the Bossoni Group Jeep and the gorgeous Technomousse girls. The gate dropped at 13:00 for the qualifying heats, and racing started with the Mini-cross riders fighting on the track. The qualifying race was won by the talented Manuel Bersini. During race brakes, the Daboot crew, Freestyle MX experts, thrilled to the crowd with their show in the afternoon and the first part of the night. Also, to be mentioned the presence of Step-Up World Champion Massimo Bianconcini. The actual Supercross schedule started with the «Superpole»: one single time lap for each of the six faster riders of the day, won by local hero Angelo Pellegrini (Suzuki - AL Motorsports), who was awarded with a Nikon camera by Nital CEO Aldo Winkler. The schedule continued with the two Main Events. Filippo Zonta (TeamMartin Racing) won the SX2 race, ahead of Lorenzo Camporese (MB Team), and the Englishman Joe Clayton (Team DoubleF). In the SX1 Main Event, the battle between fast Frenchman Cedric Soubeyras (JPM Team) and home rider Angelo Pellegrini, went on for the whole race until the last lap, with Soubeyras taking the win, Pellegrini in close second, and the French Adrien Escoffier (Husqvarna) in third. The crowd played a starring role this year, too, as a handful of fans participated in a running race along the track, fighting for prizes offered by Givi and Hevik. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather conditions, the Supercross Cup had to be stopped, with much disappointment of the organizers, who worked for several months to prepare the event, and the fans, who were looking forward to the After Race Party. The Pellegrini brothers, however, are not easily discouraged, and they are already thinking about how to create an even more extraordinary 2018 edition.
